Our WEB 2.0 Real Estate App with Google Maps

Last week I’ve deployed the new version of our online WEB 2.0 Real Estate Application for Turkey. www.emlakharitam.com combines Google Maps Mashups, AJAX and Server Side technologies JAVA technologies. Around %90 percent of the requests made are AJAX based. Backend is implemented with Spring MVC, Spring Core and Hibernate.

Currently we have;

- Totally free membership for individuals and agencies
- No limit on property posts
- Built-in messaging system between agents and individuals
- Area of Interest based searches
- Integrated Panoramio
- Lot more coming soon.

There’re a lot of new ideas we’re thinking on to pick and implement, probably the biggest feature in the next version will be the mobile module.

I’ll be speaking at JSFOne

JSFOne takes place at Washington between 4-6 September. I’ll join the conference as a speaker with two sessions;

- Apache MyFaces Planet

- JSF and Security

Kudos to Kito Mann for organizing  such a great event.
